The Story
Living in the emotional wake from the death of her mother, and left to be raised by her clueless father, Tiffany finds that she can only trust the things she can rely on everyday. Scientific facts. When the random death of her cat occurs, it sets off a series of events in Tiffany's life which leads her to inventing Purdue: a robot that can walk, play, and serve drinks. With the robot at her side (and a newt named Paul Stanley), a peaceful balance begins to set within the household. However, an uneasy misunderstanding between father and robot forms. As tension grows between man and machine, the scales balancing Tiffany's belief in the concrete and abstract begin to tip.

This system of beliefs we have when we are young is a product of our situation, peers, and parenting, The film is a vision of drama, magic, and reality, re-creating the feeling one would get of reading a story of slipstream fiction, and addressing the situational development of what we believe and don't believe.'
